Cryoprotection™

All Ziath 2D barcode scanners are available with a cryoprotection coating, which prevents the build-up of condensation on the under-side of the scanner window. The occurrence of condensation whilst scanning 2D datamatrix tubes straight from cryogenic storage is well known. Ziath's proprietary coating completely eliminates the occurance, and ensures uninterrupted scanning. Also, as we do not use an internal fan as the solution, there is no additional noise emitted from our scanner.

Scanner Tests

Tests were performed on all our 2D barcode scanners to show the efficiency of the Cryoprotection™.  Cryogenically frozen 2D barcoded tubes were taken straight from the freezer and scanned, using the Ziath DataPaq 2D barcode scanners with and without Cryoprotection™. Tests were also performed on our DataPaq™ Multi-Rack Scanner, with similar results.
